Sometimes, I feel like cooking. Other times, I just want to eat. Lately, I've been eating a lot of fruits and veggies along with plenty of vegetable juices and Sun Warrior smoothies. 

Tonight, I felt like making brownies... (recipe coming soon)

I started getting out all the ingredients for my classic gluten free brownie recipe and it dawn on me...

There is no Baking Powder in this house! Needless to say, I was negged out for a few minutes...

Until I remembered, I just gotta make the baking powder myself!

You can make it yourself too -

1 teaspoon of Baking Soda
2 teaspoon of Cream of Tartar

If you are making something that needs a little more stability, like a cake or something like that, you can add 1 teaspoon of Cornstarch if you want. 

Combine the baking soda and cream of tartar and mix until well combined, use immediately.

This makes one tablespoon of baking powder. 

Handle it!
